Betty Young

Betty L. Young, 85, passed away on September 23, 2015, after battling a very long illness. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lentz; sisters, Pat Reber, Leona Watson, Sylvia Nelson and Velda Lance and her grandson, Travis McLeod. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Young; daughter, Mary Ann Young; her parents, Fred and Ada Cherry; grandsons, Stephen McLeod and Mark McLeod; brothers William Cherry, Rex Cherry and Earl Cherry and her son-in-law, Wallace Lentz.

Services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Hood Mortuary Chapel, 1261 E. 3rd Ave., Durango, CO 81301. Interment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 900 Cemetery Road, Durango, CO 81301.
