William Harry "Bill" Wonderling
William Harry “Bill” Wonderling passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home in Hermosa at the age of 58. Bill was born on August 27, 1954, in Harrison, Pa., to Harry and Dorothy Wonderling, who now reside in Mesa, Ariz. Bill was in the Boy Scouts and Sea Explorers. He attended and graduated high school in Mesa. He was a mechanical engineer in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge. Bill went on to graduate from college and learned the trade of heating and refrigeration. He owned his own business: High Country Heating and Refrigeration. Bill had two brothers, Mark and Charles, and he had one sister, Mary Kay Clark. Bill is survived by Dale and Missy Wonderling (son and daughter-in-law) of Durango, Colo., two grandchildren: Tyler and Rylie, and his significant other, Stephanie Gaines of Durango. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. “We will all miss his goofy sense of humor his laughter and big heart. If Bill taught us anything, it’s this: We can do anything we set our minds to. If there is one task too big, we just take one step at a time. We will all miss and love him.” Bill will be cremated and burial will take place in Mesa, Ariz., at The Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. The family will be having a get together in the near future.
