Obituary for Gerald R. Wilson
Bayfield resident Gerald Russell Wilson died Sunday, October 16, 2011, at home. He was 60.
Mr. Wilson was born Feb. 10, 1951, in Vancouver, Wash., son of Lloyd and Frances Wilson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and later became a carpenter. He and Cindy Cowger were married September 26, 2000.
Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Wilson, and his daughter, Michaela Wilson, both of Bayfield; his son, Cody Wilson, of Seattle, Wash.; his siblings: Juanetta Luyben of Portland, Ore.; Sharon Knaply of Liberty Lake, Wash.; Janet McAndrews of Richfield, Wash.; Diane Gullickson of Battleground, Wash.; Don Wilson of Bellfair, Wash.; and Bob Wilson of Hanna, Wyo.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Bayfield Christian Church, 4995 County Road 509. There will be a potluck after the service.
