Carlos Lorenzo, “KILLLA”, Whiteman went to be with the creator on May 24, 2018. Carlos was born on the 29th of September 1999, in Durango, Colorado to Tara Vigil and George Whiteman Jr. He is survived by his only son, Zitayvius Red Hawk Richards, Grandparents; Darlene Frost, Pete and Marlene Vigil, Siblings; Jalisa Paul (Orion Watts), Jesse Vigil (Angel Vigil), Shyanne Vigil (Raph Herrera), Nephews; Orion H. Watts, Myles Vigil, and Neices; Olyvia Watts, Myah Vigil, and Zayla Herrera.
Carlos is preceded in death by his Grandfather, George Whiteman Sr. and Grandmother, Ramona Brady from Lame Deer, Montana. Carlos was a proud member of both the Dog Solider Society of the Northern Cheyenne, and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. At a young age he took great interest in his cultural ways, and held the title of “Southern Ute Indian Brave”, as a Northern Traditional Dancer in 2010-2011. Carlos was an extremely talented artist. His arts included drawing, in which he won many awards for, playing the drums, and most importantly creating music. He went by his stage name, “KILLLA”, which he wrote, composed, and preformed his own Trap Music.
Carlos was such a humble, compassionate, and caring young man with a very big heart. He had an infectious smile, great sense of humor, and strong warrior spirit.
KILLLA you are extremely loved and will be greatly missed. Carlos leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and the Great Malinko Family, “Whoop”, “Whoop”.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 5/29/2018, at 10am, at Saint Ignatius Church. Burial will be held at Ignacio East Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Multi-Purpose building. Purple and green were his favorite colors.
There will be a Rosary Monday, 5/28/2018, at 6:30pm, at Saint Ignatius Church, with a wake to follow at Tara Vigil’s residence (93 Mountain Dew Circle, West Cedar Point, Ignacio, CO). The family will also be having a sunrise ceremony Tuesday, 5/28/2018 @ Tara Vigil’s residence.
