Obituary for Steven T. Whitaker
Steven T. Whitaker died Friday, September 9, 2011, in Durango, Colo. He was 54.
Steven was born April 20, 1957, in Kalamazoo, Mich., the son of Troy and Jean Brown (Abnet). He attended Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, Calif. He was known to the Renaissance communities as Lord Whitaker or "The Wizard." He enjoyed his family and was especially fond of his grandchildren.
There was a small get-together for the family Tuesday, September 13, as a time of remembrance. There will be a memorial next year at the Southern California Renaissance Faire in May.
Steven is survived by his wife Deanna of Durango, son Roger of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; daughters Miramonee of Upland, Calif., Rachel of Merced, Calif., and Anna of Durango; his mother Jean Abnet of Phoenix, a sister, two brothers and ten grandchildren.
