Martin Webster

Martin R. Webster, 61, died Sunday, April 06, 2014 at home in Bayfield, Colorado, surrounded by friends.
Mr. Webster was born January 21, 1953 in Key West, Florida the son of Phillip and Mary Webster. In Mr. Webster’s early years, his family move several times due to his father’s business. Martin graduated from Aberdean Weatherwax Senior High School in Aberdean, Washington. He served in the Army in 1972 and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Mr. Webster was honorably discharged in 1975.
Mr. Webster moved to the southwest to enjoy the views and activities the area had to offer. He worked in the oil fields of New Mexico. He loved camping and four wheeling and tried his hand at panning for gold, trying to find that one big nugget, his family said.
Mr. Webster’s most recent job was working retail in Durango and exploring the surrounding mountains.
Mr. Webster is survived by mother Mary Lonnberg of Willits, Ca.; brother, Micheal J. Webster of Seattle, Wa.; brother, Steven J. Webster of Tenino, Wa.; sister, Joyce Coleman of Willits, Ca. Cremation has occurred at Hood Mortuary and no services are scheduled at this time.
