Obituary for Keith R. Vinson
Keith Richard Vinson, 18, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011, in Durango, Colo.
Keith was born April 5, 1993, in Denver, the son of Paul and Tina Vinson. He came to live with Fred and April Schneider in 2001. Keith’s significant disabilities and special needs could be provided for by Fred and April. He attended the Life Skills Program at Durango High School.
Keith enjoyed time at the park with his family, so long as he wasn’t in the sun. His favorite place, however, was home with his foster family.
He is survived by his parents, Paul Howard Vinson, of Thornton, Colo.; and Tina Lynn Vinson, of Strasburg, Colo.; his foster parents, Fred and April Schneider, his siblings: Jason, Daniel, Caedon and Aleena Schneider and Ashley Rey – all of Bayfield, his grandparents: Rick and Teri Schneider of Middletown, Md., and Jack and Barb Prince of Fort Myers, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at the Pine Valley Foursquare Church in Bayfield. His foster dad, Mr. Fred Schneider, will be officiating. Cremation will occur at Hood Mortuary Crematory in Durango.
