Emelia Trujillo

Emily Romero Trujillo went to be with our Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Four Corners Health Care. She was 94 years old. Emily was born February 25, 1921, to Antonio Romero and Dolores (Lola) Sanchez in Durango,CO. Emily met the love of her life in 1940 Feliberto Trujillo. Together they had 7 children 4 daughters and 3 sons. Emily enjoyed reading, listening to music, needle point, cooking, making people laugh, and watching comedy programs.
She is survived by Victor Trujillo (Joan) of Anchorage, AK., Phil Trujillo (Sandra) of Grand Junction, CO., Bertha Garcia of Anchorage, AK., Sylvia Mestas (Fred) of Durango,CO., Irene Gutierrez (Gene) of Durango, CO., and Emily Gomez (Pete) of Fort Collins, CO.; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Feliberto Trujillo, her son Sam Trujillo, and
grandson Jason Gutierrez. A Rosary will be held Thursday 11/19/15 6:00 p.m Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass will be held Friday, November 20, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
