March 12, 1942 - June 24, 2024
Tony A. Garcia, was a loving Father, And Grandfather, And Great Grandfather Tony was born in Rosa, New Mexico on March 12, 1942, later, Tony moved with his loving father, mother, sisters and brothers to Arboles, Colorado where as a loving family they planted their roots and the values of hard work, always caring for others. Tony was a hard worker on their family land as he grew up. Where he helped his dad raise sheep, and many other farm animals, also Hunting, Fishing, and working various jobs to help provide for his family also learning and growing garden goods in the Great Depression where they faced many challenges thew out his younger and teenage years and because times where hard, Tony could not carry out a long education. Tony worked Sheep Hearding, building fence on the family land, and then went on to working construction as Tony reached his early 20s. On their family trip to move a family member to Delta, Colorado, Tony met his future wife, Rita Romero. As Tony and Rita spent their younger years enjoying the company of each other. They came together as one Tony and Rita Garcia made their vows in to internal love, they welcomed their first Baby Girl Mary Jane Garcia born in Delta, Colorado in 1969. Tony and Rita enjoyed raising their daughter, with lots of love they decided to grow their family, a second baby girl Corrine Garcia came in to this loving family in 1973 Durango, Colorado, where Tony and Rita deiced to raise their little girls. A couple years later in 1975 they welcome their first baby boy Anthony Garcia in Durango, Colorado. Tony and Rita cherished having a little boy about three years later they had another baby boy Matthew Garcia in Durango, Colorado. They loved raising their family about seven years later they had their third baby boy Orlando Garcia in 1985 in Durango, Colorado. Where Tony and Rita raised their loving family until 1988 where they moved to Delta, Colorado, Where Tony continued working hard in Concrete and Constuction also while rising his family. He gained lots of grandkids, and great grandkids and while making, and having friends while he worked threw out his precious life. Tony remained active while walking around Delta, Colorado, and at the local lake Tony found special treasures to hand out to family and people he cherished. Thew out life Tony Garcia was strong about family, and the ways of living life under God as a Catholic. He instilled his Catholic beliefs also the importance and meaning of hard work. Which he set an example for his family and friends even throughout his retirement and whole life. Tony Garcia Survived by, His ex-wife Rita (Chris) Arnett, also by his loving children Mary Jane (Edward) Lucero, Corrine (Steve) Valdez, Anthony (Chasity) Garcia, Matthew (Amanda) Garcia, Orlando (Breanna) Garcia. Tony also survived by, 14 Grandchildren and their spouses and 10 great grandchildren and many more who called him Grandpo. Tony's loving soul was preceded in to death surrounded by his loving family and friends in Delta, Colorado, on June 24th 2024 when he took his first breath into the pearl gates of Heaven to join in is beloved heavenly Angels.

Services for Tony Garcia include a Rosary at Friday July 5th at Saint Peter/Saint Rosa Catholic Church in Arbloles, Colorado at 6pm with a mass to follow on Saturday July 6th 2024 at Saint Peter/Saint Rosa Catholic Church and Burial following at Rosa Cemetery.
A pot luck dinner at the Church after to remember and Celebrate the Life of Tony Garcia.
