Donald Tinker

Donald I. Tinker, 74, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at home in Longmont, Colo. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Hood Mortuary in Durango, Colo. Burial will follow at Florida Cemetery in Durango. Mr. Tinker was born November 8, 1938, in Durango, the son of John and Helen Tinker. He grew up in Durango. Donald drove overland and long-haul transportation trucks for his entire career. He was married to Judy M. Sauck February 7, 1959. He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Longmont. Mr. Tinker is preceded in death by daughter Lila Tinker, son Walter Tinker, and brother Lester Tinker. He is survived by his wife, Judy Sauck of Longmont, and three sons: John Tinker of Hasting, Neb., Robin Tinker of Eckley, Colo., and Thomas Tinker of Longmont.
