Obituary for Dorothy "Dottie" Schumacher
Dottie Schumacher, 84, passed away on October 23, 2012, in Durango.
Dottie was born July 28, 1928, in Wichita Falls, Texas, daughter of Clarence and Esther Moore. She married Charles Schumacher on February 5, 1948, and they have lived in Durango since then. She had worked for several years at Montgomery Ward's and Cable TV. She was also one of Durango's premier seamstresses.
Dottie was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Schumacher, in 1998. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charlie, and daughter and son-in-law, Gerrie and Wayne Chamberlain, all of Durango.
