Obituary for
Hazel M. Sandoval
Hazel M. Sandoval, 55, born Aug. 14, 1956, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2011.
Hazel was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all she knew and loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Hazel was employed at Imprints Wholesale for seven years and was loved by her coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria A. Romero, father, Jose E. Romero, and former husband Gerald P. Sandoval.
Hazel is survived by her sons Kris (Byrd) and Steven (Melina) Sandoval, both of Denver; boyfriend Newell; eight beloved grandchildren; sisters Vivian (Albert) and Cathy (Terrance) of Pueblo and Colorado Springs, respectively; brother Nick of Durango; and stepdaughter Michelle (David).
Services will be held both in Denver and Durango, Colo. Denver services will be viewing/visitation on Friday, Aug 5, 2011, at Buckley Mortuary, 1001 Tejon St. Services in Durango will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Sacred Heart Church, 254 E. 5th Ave. Viewing begins at 5 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow.
She leaves behind a great legacy and will be missed by many.
