Gena Rych

Gena Regina Rych died on Saturday, December 3, 2011. She was 27. Beloved daughter of Walter and the late Lynn Rych. Devoted and loving sister to Danielle, Lynn and Julia. Adoring aunt to Rocco and Christopher.
The cause of death was a plane crash outside of Silverton, Colorado.
Gena was the operations supervisor for Alpine Bank in Durango, Colorado. She was a graduate of Easton Area High School and East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Gena was known for her kindness and ability to connect with people, and was loved by everyone who knew her. Her smile alone could light up a room.
On November 5, 1984 in Teaneck, NJ, Gena was born to Lynn and Walter Rych. Her mother, Lynn died in 1995. Her three sisters also survive her, Danielle Enea and husband, Frank of Durango, Colorado; Lynn Rych-Hoffman and husband, John of New York City; and Julia Devito-Rych of Bangor, Pennsylvania. As do her two nephews, Rocco and Christopher Enea of Durango, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at The Smiley Building, 1309 East. 3rd Avenue. Candlelight procession and gathering will follow at Alpine Bank, 1099 Main Ave. Mass of Catholic burial at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA is to be determined.
