Richard Raymond Rubly passed away peacefully on September 13, 2019 at the age of 88.
He leaves behind his beloved family, Marjorie Rubly, his wife of 65 years and three daughters, Kim Maurer (Rick Maurer), Heidi Renza (John Renza) and Jill Damiano (Tony Damiano) and five grandchildren Johnny Renza, Michelle Renza, Maggie Maurer, Jackie Maurer, Anthony Damiano and great-grandson Malcolm Rodriguez.
Born on July 22, 1931 to Raymond and Melanie Rubly, Dick grew up in Geneva, Ohio where he had many happy memories and lifelong friends. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After returning home he became a proud graduate of Ohio State University in 1957. Dick had a very successful career as a sales executive. He felt fortunate that he always loved his job, a job which gave him the opportunity to travel all over the country and work with many great people.
Dick enjoyed his retirement years boating, fishing, golfing and traveling. His favorite hobby was fishing, he loved fishing with friends and family every chance he could. He was a very creative, fun, kind, generous man. He was an encouraging, supportive father and grandfather who cared deeply for every member of his family. We all feel profoundly blessed to have had him in our lives and will always love and miss him.
