Ty Colton Ransford, 20, of Durango, passed away from natural causes on February 6, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 18, 1998 in Durango to Darel Ransford and Jennifer Dunn. He is survived by his parents: Jennifer (Joe) Whirry and Darel (Paula) Ransford; siblings: Bucky, Ryan, Brittany, Tianna, Alissa, Jessie, Hannah, Jakob and Summit; many grandparents, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and beloved pups.
Ty loved his family and dogs. He was a best friend to many. He was a natural with animals. And a lover of music, motorcycles, swimming, skiing, cooking, playing games, gardening and food.
Ty has one of the sweetest souls you could have. While faced with many challenges in life he persevered through the fear, pain and the unknown to only show unconditional love.
His unconditional love, gentle kindness, endless generosity, beastly courage and his unmatchable strength were all delivered to us through his mischievous smile, witty humor and the best hugs you could ever get. THE BEST!
Ty has a special purpose in this universe. When on earth and now in heaven he is a teacher of kindness and unconditional love. And a leader in strength and courage.
We were all so lucky to have you in our lives.
You will be deeply missed.
Let your strength shine down.
Your lessons will not go unheard.
Rock on like you never could here on earth.
We are so proud of you! We love you Ty!
There will be a Celebration of Life held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive, Durango.
