"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone. The light remains."
Daniel (DJ) Quintana, age 20, passed away suddenly on April 6, 2021. Those who knew him have lost a shining light in their lives. Daniel's greatest moment in his life was when he found his love of his life, his true soulmate, Danielle. They were married on July 1, 2017. He found the one who would share and enjoy doing all the crazy and interesting things he loved. Daniel loved the outdoors, from camping, hiking to fishing. He did not mind if he caught a fish or not. All that mattered was he was doing it with those he loved. He also enjoyed going to the movies. You could ask him anything about any movie and he could tell you all the actors, who directed it, or could tell you line by line the movie itself. He was always there to watch whatever was released in the theater on premier day. He used to say that the best part of any movie was all the new movie trailers before the movie started so he could make plans to go watch them. Daniel also loved to create something out of nothing. If he saw a piece of wood, he would always make something unique out of it. He also was a Jokester and a great storyteller. He could have you laughing for hours. He was a Rick and Morty, t-shirt, shorts and flip flop kinda guy.
These are some of the memories we will always cherish in our hearts of him. We love you Daniel and we will miss everything about you. This is not "Goodbye" but "Until we meet again".
Daniel is survived by his wife, Danielle Quintana, his parents Peggie Serna (Paul), Fred Quintana (Andrea), and James Embree and Donna McKnight. He is survived by a brother, Patrick Serna, a sister, Calista Quintana, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, a Goddaughter, Julie Maez and numerous friends. Daniel was greeted in Heaven by his Grandparents, several uncles and aunts and 2 close friends.
Burial will be on April 10, 2021, in Juanita, Colorado with Pastor Paul Glover officiating.
