In the business of school work and other activities, Dillon managed to work at Mother Cluckers and the Brown Bear in Silverton.

He is survived by his parents: David W. Paxton of Montrose and Keri Metzler of Silverton, his siblings: Tanner Paxton of Silverton, Amber Kelso, of Waterville, Kan., and Adam Walker, of Colorado Springs, Colo., his grandparents, Gib and Joylea Gibson, of Silverton, Nikki Paxton (stepmother), Kevin Baldwin (stepfather) and numerous aunts uncles and cousins.

As a final act of generosity to others, Dillon chose to be an organ donor through Donor Alliance.
