Patricia "Jo" Griffin

Patricia "Jo" Griffin of Bayfield, CO, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2023, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer. Jo was born in Indianola, IA, on February 10, 1932, to Glen W. Ferguson and Edna Frances (Smith). She grew up in Palmyra, IA, and graduated high school at Hartford HS. She attended 2-1/2 years of college at Iowa State.

Jo and Jim were married on April 20, 1955 in Des Moines, IA while Jim was home on leave from the Air Force. They were married for 67 years.

Jo is survived by her husband Jim of Bayfield, CO, and four children: Peggy (Mitch) Pingel of Broomfield, CO; Mike (Liz) Griffin of Mifflinburg, PA; Kathy (Steve) Shockley of Ft Collins, CO; and Jill (Michael) Fischer of Durango, CO; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and multiple extended family members, as well as all the "adopted" members that she loved as her own.
