Mrs. Pacheco was born May 28, 1925, in Lumberton, N.M., the daughter of Abelino and Amalia Gallegos. Mrs. Pacheco grew up in Arboles, where eventually she met her husband, Manuel Pacheco. They were married in 1953 in the town of Pagosa Springs, Colo.

In her later years, her family fondly recalls that she was an excellent seamstress and made many wedding and prom dresses. She was very talented at arts and crafts and did many items for friends and family. Her daughter, Patti, recalls many smiling faces from people Adelina touched with her creations.

The Pacheco family would like to thank Pasco Southwest, Four Corners Health Care Center, Ignacio Senior Center and SUCAP for their love and help with the caring of Mrs. Pacheco.

She is survived by Michael Pacheco (son) of Ignacio, Patti Griego (daughter) of Farmington, N.M., Dustin Griego (grandson), Randy Hartley (grandson), great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Pacheco, her daughter Loretta Pacheco, her grandson Michael Hartley and her sister, Mary Herrera.
