Michelle "Meeshy" Lee Neylan-Henderson learned to fly Monday, October 1, 2018, in Farmington, NM. She was 41 years young.
Meeshy was born November 14, 1976, to Seth Michael John Neylan and LauraLee (Taylor) Neylan in Leadville, Colorado. Her life began in Leadville and migrated through Durango, to Aztec, and eventually, Farmington, where she began her family and lived her adult life. She graduated valedictorian from Rocinante High School in 1995. She obtained her associates degree in liberal arts from San Juan College.
Meeshy was an artist, a musician and talented makeup artist and facepainter. She started her makeup artistry as a kid on her grandmother and honed her skills as a teen on herself and many others. Meeshy was the bass player in the local band Smoke. She also worked in high school and local civic theater in the technical and makeup department.
She is survived by her husband: Chris; son: Syd (Skye); sister: Tiffany (Mia); many extended family, close friends and her kitty: Marmalade.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Seth and LauraLee; grandmother: Mary; and great-grandmother: "Mom" Valvina.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 08, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Greenmount Cemetery.
