Moses Paul Trujillo was born on February 15, 1959 in Durango, Colorado. He was born and raised his whole life by Paul and Cordy Trujillo in Durango. He passed away on November 30, 2023. Moses graduated from Durango High School. He was a concrete finisher and was well known for his work in Durango.
He is survived by his mother, Cordy Trujillo; his sons, Curtis Trujillo, Jeremy Trujillo, Brian Trujillo, and Zachary Trujillo; his stepdaughter and son Latoya Mestas (Charles Barnett) and Dane Mestas; brother, Filbert Trujillo (Gina Rodriguez); and sisters, Julie Valdez, Pauline Trujillo, and Marcella Trujillo (Adam Valdez). He also has number grandchildren and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he adored dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Trujillo; his wife of 25 years, Josette Chacon; and his nephew, David Gallegos.
Moses enjoyed the outdoors such as camping, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed playing softball for many years with many of his closest friends and family. He loved to dance and loved hanging out with his family and friends. Most of all he was one of the biggest fans of his favorite football team, the Los Angeles Rams.
A Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Durango at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, followed by his burial at the Greenmount Cemetery. Also, there will be a Celebration of Moses life from 2:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
