Wendy Miller

January 3, 1956 — December 15, 2015

Wendy Faye (Hartman) Miller passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at home. She was 59 years old.
Wendy was born January 03, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan to Bill Hartman and Patricia Robinson.
She moved to Durango in June of 1973, and immediately fell in love with it. Wendy loved the outdoors and took advantage of all Colorado had to offer. Over the years she loved to whitewater raft, ride horses, ski, ride motorcycles and just be outside as much as life allowed.
Her laugh was infectious and could always bring you joy. She was the center of attention and the life of the party anywhere she went, and she had a myriad of sayings and phrases that will forever live on with those who knew her. Wendy’s sense of humor and passion made her a very unique and special addition to the world.
Her greatest passion in life was riding her Harley; the longer the trip, the better. She loved the open road and the wind on her face, and she found great peace in the groups of people she would travel with. Wendy loved participating in toy runs and benefit rides whenever possible, and always seemed to have her next great adventure planned. She was very deeply loved by her family and friends, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Autumn and Tony Concepcion, & grandchildren Rosaleigh & Evan, all of Durango; mother and step-father Patricia and Wayne Robinson, sister and brother-in-law Lorrie and Jim Searle & nephews Jim and Paul Searle all of Michigan.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Hartman.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Wendy's honor on January 9, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at Gazpacho's Restaurant, 431 East 2nd Avenue, Durango, CO 81301.
