Mia Martinez

Mia was the most beautiful, energetic little girl who loved to sing and dance. She had a contagious laugh and a willingness to learn and help people. Mia loved her brothers and sisters very much. She was a great student, loved to draw and color, and always saw the humor in things. She left us way too early and will be missed forever. She is survived by her father Douglas Martinez (Sarah), mother Neysha Candelaria, brothers and sisters Shawn, Andres, Noah, Angelo and Ariana, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandparents. She is preceeded in death by Shawn Martinez who passed February 16th of 2002, and Grandparents Ferris and Martha Martinez and Great-grandma Susie Candelaria.
A visitation will be 8:30am-3:30pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Hood Mortuary Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 6pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on Saturday, April 30, 2016, both at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Catholic Church in Pagosa Springs. Burial will follow services at Hilltop Cemetery, Pagosa Springs.
