Jean Martinelli Genova

Jean Frances Martinelli Genova, 90, born January 3, 1923 in Pueblo, CO passed away on December 31, 2013. She was a fiery redhead that loved God, her family, and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentine and Frances Marininch, her husband’s Tony Martinelli and Tom Genova and granddaughter Tinamarie. She is survived by her sister Katie, her five children: her daughters Rose, Fran, Helena, and Vivian and son Joe. She is blessed to be survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. All who loved or admired Jean are welcome to join the family at the services to celebrate her strong and loving spirit. Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at Hood Mortuary in Durango Colorado (1261 E. 3rd Ave, 970-247-2312). Viewing will be from 10-11 AM, Funeral will be at 11 AM followed by internment at Greenmont Cemetery, also in Durango. Friends and family are invited to join Helena’s family in Farmington after the interment, instructions will be provided.
