Obituary for Julie A. Maldonado
Julie Ann Maldonado was born into time February 4, 1970, in Denver, and born into eternity September 28, 2011, in Farmington N.M. She was 41.
Julie attended school in Denver. Most recently, she worked in Cortez, Colo., providing care for children. Her mother-in-law, Liz Brown, of Durango, says, “Julie loved people, and always reached out to others less fortunate.”
She is preceded in death by her brother Joseph Maldonado.
Julie is survived by her loving husband, James Leigh, of Durango; mother, Linda Munoz, of Durango; father, Paul (Michelle) Padilla, of Denver; brothers James Munoz and Julian Maldonado of Denver; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Brown, of Durango.
A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011, at St. Columba Catholic Church in Durango.
