LaVonda Shae Bass

LaVonda, an amazing and beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away on February 13, 2025 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She was known for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and love for life. LaVonda was truly the definition of a Trophy Wife—elegant, devoted, and full of love. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was enjoying a delicious meal at her favorite restaurant, immersing herself in the Word of God, or spending precious time with her family.

LaVonda’s family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve; her children, Brooklyn and Preston; her siblings, Amanda, Dana, Darla, Brook, and Audria; and her loving mother, Treva. LaVonda's kindness, laughter, and grace will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry, who she is now reunited with in heaven.

LaVonda’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into every room and the peace she shared with those around her.

A visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. following a service at 2:30 p.m. on February 22, 2025 at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home 2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, Texas 75166. At 3:30 a short walk or drive to the graveside finished by 4:30.
