Charlotte Latham

Charlotte Louise Latham, 76, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at her home in Cortez, Colorado. Mrs. Latham lived in Cortez, Colorado for about 63 years. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 208 North Dolores Road in Cortez. A dinner will follow at the church.
Mrs. Latham was born February 19, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Ralph and Jessie Tenhaeff. Charlotte married the love of her life Elward Latham on November 16, 1956. Together they had 1 beautiful daughter and raised her in Cortez, CO. Her favorite pastimes were being a wife, mother, grandmother, sewing, quilt making, crocheting afghans, and the Denver Broncos.
She is survived by her husband Elward Latham of Cortez, CO. She is also survived by a sister Kathy Burrows of San Antonio, TX, 3 granddaughters: Jennifer Lewis of Denver, CO and Heather and Shawna Lewis, both of Cortez, CO, 1 grandson Justin Lewis of Cortez, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Jessie Tenhaeff, her sisters Gloria and Bonnie, her beloved daughter Kimberly Sue Lewis, and her son in law Leo Lewis.
