Robert Kibby

Robert K. "Bob" Kibby passed away Friday, December 4, 2015, at San Juan Regional Medical Center. He was 77 years old. Bob was born August 12, 1938 to Morton Bradley Kibby and Grace Margaret Holmes in Oklahoma City, OK.
He was raised in Edmond, OK where he wandered the farm and read voraciously. After graduating from Oklahoma University, his journey took him to Southen California working for North American Aviation and Printrac designing software program. His later project was programing for fingerprint identification for the FBI and RCMP in Canada.
Bob's passion was the mountain, hiking/climbing extensively in San Juans, Sierra Nevada, Cascades, parts of Alaska and Wyoming. He was a deep thinker with dry humor and wit.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; brother, Philip (Joyce); sister, Shirley Lindholm (John), neice, nephews, and greats. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
A celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Hood Mortuary at 2pm.
