Kathi Creech

Kathi Lou Creech passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She was 69 years old.   Kathi was born April 28, 1954, to Frank and Melba Salerno at the Alameda Naval Air Force base in California. As a child Kathi loved being with her parents and traveling the world (as an Air Force brat). Her biggest love was to be with friends and family, from camping or just hanging around the house. She loved to cook (especially spaghetti) for her friends and family. She enjoyed watching tennis, playing backgammon, gardening, working crossword puzzles, listening to music and going to music festivals. She loved her birds, watching them and feeding them. All creatures, big and small were fed at Kathi and Robert’s house and often she would feed the squirrels right out of her hand. The turkeys got their birdseed, all kinds of birds were fed daily and hummingbirds got their daily sugar water and the leftovers would go to the foxes. Kathi was preceded in death by her mother, Melba and husband Robert. She is survived by her father, Frank and many friends and extended family. Services for Kathi will be announced at a later date.
