Janet was born in 1949 to parents Grady and Jeannette Greenville in Lufkin, Texas. During childhood she moved to Colorado and graduated high school from Palmer High in Colorado Springs in 1968. Soon thereafter she met and then married the man of her dreams, Randy, in April of 1969, and they moved to Germany where he was stationed with the U.S. Air Force. Their son Justin was born there, and shortly after their return to Colorado their younger son, Jared, was born. Janet led a career of whatever-it-takes, working as a secretary, a waitress, a bank manager, a medical office manager and a State Patrol and 911 dispatcher. Her beloved Randy departed in November of 2021, and she rejoined him in peace. She is survived by her sons Justin and Jared, their respective spouses Jeff and Karol, grandchildren Donovan, Colton and Blakely, her brother Glenn in Las Vegas and her sister Floy in Colorado Springs. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to the Lupus Foundation in her name. At her request there will be no services.
