Jessie Marie Young

Jessie Marie Young, 30, a Durango resident, passed away on Friday April 14, 2023 in an automobile accident.

Jessie was born on  March 26, 1993 and grew up in Bennett, Colorado. She was well known for her sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. She was also a talented musician who loved to dance. Jessie has touched the lives of countless people and will be well remembered.

She is survived by her sons, Benson Gruett and Henry Williams, sister Rebecca Brian, and brother John Young. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Young and her mother Connie Young (Mewhinney).

A celebration of life will be held on June 24th, 2023 from 1-3 pm at the Bennett Auditorium. 615 7th street. Bennett, CO. This will be a potluck event so bring a dish to share if you’d like.
