Diane Jessen

Diane Yvonne Jessen, 76 of Bayfield, Colorado passed away at Mercy Regional Medical Center on May 9, 2016. Diane was born in Pulaski, Iowa on July 24th, 1939 to Edith & Dale Murphy. She married Ronald Edward Jessen July 17, 1971.
Diane worked and retired as an Administrative Assistant for the Uniformed Services Benefit Association and enjoyed participating in gardening, reading, and hosting friends & family at her home. Diane's most important role was being "Nonni" to her grandchildren. Diane was a proud member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Bayfield. Diane is survived by her daughter, Kendra (Kevin) Smith of Bayfield, CO; stepdaughter, Teresa (Chauncey) Jessen-Carrico of Cripple Creek, CO; stepson, Brent (Anette) Jessen of Spirit Lake, ID; eight grandchildren, Larissa, Austin, Dylan, Kenzie and Kaiden Smith; MaKayla Carrico; Brendan & Brooke Jessen; in addition to several cousins.
Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ron; her parents Edith and Dale Murphy; her brother Charlie Murphy & sister Darlene Augspurger.
Memorial services will be held at the Church In The Wildwood in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
