It is my honor to let everyone know that James Edward McCoy is reunited with his wife, Iva Janelle Rhodes, in spiritual existence. They both ride horses on the clouds, their love has reunited. Married on July 26, 1971 in Durango, Colorado, from which they were both born. James, son of Edward McCoy and Iris June Metzker, was inducted into the National Supreme Council of Order of Delamoy in January 1967. He was ordained as a Priest in February 1978. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served 22 years in the United States Air Force, where he played a big part in the family support of Operation Desert Storm. He was a proud leader in the Boy Scouts of America where he led troops 234 in Washington, 522 and 252 in California. He was Post Commander of VFW Post 9946 in Atwater, California and Post Commander of 8743 in Ahwahnee, California.
James leaves behind his two sons, Brian James McCoy and Christopher Michael McCoy; three granddaughters and one grandson. He had many friends and family who loved him so much. Despite his long and difficult battle with MS, he remained a man of integrity and determination. He worked tirelessly to make life easier and happier for those around him. He will be dearly missed by all.
