Jacob Wayne Greenwood passed away on November 1, 2020 in Durango, Colorado. Jacob was a talented musician who loved living the Rocky Mountains. He enjoyed hanging out and jamming with his friends, hiking in the mountains, and snowboarding in the winter. Born June 9, 1994 in Cookeville, TN, Jacob graduated from Cookeville High School in 2012. He was employed as a driver by XPO Logistics and routinely worked at Purgatory Ski Resort during the winter as well.
He is predeceased by his grandparents and his beloved Mother, Vanta Leigh Greenwood. He is survived by his father Ronald Greenwood, his sister Natasha Schumacher (Jeff) and brother, Josh (Andria) and nieces and nephews Brenna, Raegan and Wyatt and Ivan, Arianna, and MaraBella. He was the loving nephew of Pam Caskie and is also survived by several Caskie cousins who loved him dearly.
Jacob had an incredible talent in music, art, and in touching people in ways that made them laugh, feel good about life, and connected to him He will be missed by his Colorado Family: roommates: Micah Liebel ,Michael Arrington & Tory Bilbrey, as well as a large group of other friends in Durango, CO and Cookeville, TN.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Lion’s Den stone pavilion at FLC 2401 Rim Drive, Durango, CO at 1:00 pm on November 7, 2020. An additional Memorial Service will be held in Cookeville at a time to be announced later
