Salvatore Albert Graziano, Jr.
Salvatore Albert Graziano, Jr., 77, of Durango, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, March 26th, 2014. Sal was born to the late Salvatore and Margaret Graziano on May 18th, 1936, in San Jose, California. He spent most of his childhood in Martinez, CA, and graduated from Alhambra High in 1954. He married Frankee Little in 1962, and while they were only married a short time, they have remained friends throughout the years. In 1981, Sal moved to Durango and fell in love with his present wife, Adele Nielson-Graziano while building Olde Tymers Café. He worked in the Food and Beverage business most of his life as an owner, manager, and a bartender extraordinaire-for which he had a devoted following. Sal loved the mountains, the ocean, good food, and good people. He was well-known and well loved, and he will be missed. Sal was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph. He is survived by his wife, Adele, his daughter Dr. Kristin Graziano (Dr. Joan Kandel), his brother Vince (Gerie), his nieces Natalie and Gina (Christoph), nephews Rick (Roxie) and Nick (Tammy) , 7 great nieces/nephews and 5 great, great nieces/nephews. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Elks Lodge in Durango on May 17th, 2014 at 5pm.
