Geraldine Rita Aragon died on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, she was 56 years old.
Geraldine "Geri" Aragon was born on November 26, 1966, in Durango, Colorado to Max "Boy" Aragon and Shirley Lucero (Casper). Geri grew up in Durango. She was mother to three amazing boys, Abel Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, and her golden child, Michael Randall, who were all her world. Her heart grew even more when she was blessed with eight grandchildren soon to be nine, Indica Sanchez, Rylan Sanchez, Addison Sanchez, Abel "AJ" Sanchez, Aedan Sanchez, Freja Randall, Marley Sanchez, Alexandrea "Drea" Sanchez, and another beautiful baby boy due August 2023. Geri loved her boys and grandchildren more than anything.
Geri was married to her long-time love, Oliver Weaver, for over 15 years. They were truly each other's soulmates and were rarely seen apart. Oliver was Geri's constant companion, partner in crime, and rock of support. Their love story was one for the ages, a true testament to the power of love and commitment.
In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Geri had a passion for working on her Chevy Tahoe and lifting it. She could often be found tinkering under the hood, or exploring the open roads with her beloved vehicle and family. She was a master of many trades, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her house was a welcoming space for all, and she was known to open her doors to anyone who needed a place to stay or just a listening ear. Geri also had a soft spot for animals and was the proud owner of three beloved cats, Lily Love, Meow-Meows, and Big Boi.
Geri was preceded in death by her father, Max Joseph Aragon II; her brother, Max Joseph Aragon III; her grandmother, Berlinda Lucero; her aunts, Viola Lucero, Betty Lucero, Irene Lucero and Dolores Lucero; her uncles, Ross Lucero, Frank Lucero, Albert Lucero, and Leonard Albo.
