She graduated from Centerville High School in Wayne County, Indiana, and attended New Mexico Western in Silver City, N.M. She married Jack F. Ferrell April 13, 1949, in Silver City. Bonnie lived on County Road 203 in Durango for 46 years. She worked 40 years as a bookkeeper and office manager for the real estate and construction industries.
