Obituary for Debra M. Estes
Our daughter, sister and friend joined the angels on April 25, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She will be greatly missed, but is continuing on with her journey. She graduated from Grants High School, Grants, N.M. She attended Notre Dame, and received her MBA from Regis College in Denver. She resided in Littleton, Colo.
Deb had a passion for the 'Fighting Irish,' dogs and flowers. She is the author of Apollo's Creed and founder of Apollo's Wings.
Deb is survived by her parents, Bob and Gloria of Durango, Colo., brothers Bobby (Marilyn) of Durango Colo., and Andrew (Darcy) of Wichita, Kan., niece, Nina, and nephews Jacob and Cameron, sister Michelle (Michael) and nephew Devon of El Paso, Texas.
A mass will be celebrated at noon Monday, April 30, 2012, at St. Columba Catholic Church. Honorary pallbearers are her niece, Nina, nephews Jacob, Devon and Cameron, Dave Anderson, Michael Esquivel, Mike Saavachek and Bobby Smith.
Our greatest thanks to Mercy Regional Medical Center and the staff of Hospice of Mercy for their incredible care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Mercy, 1 Mercado St., Suite 270, Durango, CO 81301.
