Kerry Glen Drulis passed away peacefully September 13th, 2022 just a few days before his 74th birthday.
Kerry was born September 16th, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. In his early years, the family moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he attended high school and college, playing football and receiving a BA degree from Washington University where he was team captain and was selected to the school's centennial football team. He later received a Master's degree in education and settled in Durango, Colorado in the early 1970's.
Kerry had many roles in Durango including teaching at Needham elementary, custom woodwork, cabinetry and A&L Coors, but Kerry is best known for his years as bartender, manager and owner of a locals favorite bar......Solid Muldoon's.
Kerry could be found spending his free time camping at Henderson Lake, on the softball field at FLC, walking pups at Annie's Orphans, participating in anything involving football and basketball or just hanging with friends.
Kerry was a devoted, gracious and gentle man who loved his family, friends and his many animals over the years.
Kerry is survived by his daughter, Carmen Drulis; brother and sister in law, Charles & Gail Drulis; nieces, Amber, Caitlin & Chloe; cousin Jeff McCloskey and family; and other family on the East and West Coasts.
