Obituary for Tyrell Robert DeGuelle

Tyrell Robert DeGuelle, 21, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his home in Durango, Colo. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Joseph Gallegos C.R. of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating. He was a young man at 21 and is survived by his father, Roger; mother Mary and older brother, Cody. Family and friends always took priority in Ty's life and he never put himself before them. He had found the love of his life, Hayley and his future was just starting to unfold after a lot of hard work. Ty was born and raised in Craig, Colo. A 2010 graduate from Moffat County High School and was most recently enrolled as a student at Fort Lewis College. He was in search of a future working in the outdoors where he could follow his passion for hunting and fishing. His life was filled with love and laughter. Making everyone laugh was something that he was very good at and was one of his best qualities. His funny stories and jokes were always told with love--resulting in him being the center of attention. If you knew Ty well, you may have had the opportunity to hear him play guitar. He was completely self-taught and was truly talented. Music was a source of comfort and release from the daily challenges for him. "We will all miss him beyond words can explain and he will remain in our hearts forever. He was met in heaven after he passed with other friends and loved one that have recently passed. We will see you again, Ty. Rest in peace"
