Mr. Corcoran was born December 17, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Tom and Martha Corcoran. He was raised by John and Alice Hall in Waukegan, Il., and lived there for most of his life, as well as graduating from Waukegan High School.
Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Army as an aircraft engine mechanic during the Vietnam War for several tours.
He returned to Waukegan and began his family, worked for Abbot Laboratories as a water specialist and actually holds a patent in his name. He moved from Waukegan to Florida and then Texas. He was married to Tami L'aDnier on May 27, 1995, in Plano, Texas. The family returned to Florida and then to Durango in 2005. Kevin worked for the City of Durango as Facility Maintenance for the Durango Public Library. He retired in 2011.
Kevin loved his family and very much so, loved his wife. He was known for his humor and sarcastic personality. He was a generous, selfless giver. An active attendee of the Durango Cowboy Church, he was an outspoken critic of the pastor - in love and fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Parrish L'aDnier of Durango, sons Charlie Corcoran and Christian L'aDnier of Durango, daughters Jeni Hansen of Round Lake, Il., Alicia Corcoran of Antioch, Il., Sonya Thompson of Spring Hill, Fl., and Kaci L'aDnier of Durango; mother, Martha Hornbecker of Surprise, Az.; sisters Mary Ondo of Waukegan, Il., and Deborah Brummel of Kingsport, Tn; brother Tom Corcoran of Washington D.C., and eleven grandchildren.
