Joyce Cathcart

Joyce Cathcart, 89, died March 17, 2019 in Durango, surrounded by sons Alan and Randall, all five grandchildren and husband of 70 years George. Waiting to receive her in heaven were son Brent, sister Janice and her parents. Joyce was born April 16, 1929 in Long Beach, California, attended Wilson High School and the University of Southern California. Joyce was an accomplished crafts-artist, loving every moment she could weave, pot, sew, bead, knit, quilt or teach those many arts to new generations. Remembrance suggested to your local Alzheimer’s Association.
