Carry Cassady

Carry L. Cassady died with his family near him at Mercy Regional Medical Center on August 23, 2015, at the age of 56. He was born in Friona, TX, on August 28, 1958 to Marcella and R.A. Cassady and Step- Father Gene Loyd. He married Kathy Kautz in Cortez, CO and they were married for 30 years. He graduated from Montezuma Cortez High School in 1976 and attended San Juan Vo Tech, receiving his auto body certification. He worked at Keesee Motor Company for 23 years. He enjoyed his many friends, hunting and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jason and Jessaca Cassady, their children, Aspen, Mikayla and Zoey of Bayfield, CO, his siblings; Bruce Cassady, Teresa Johnson, and Ray Cassady, all of Truth or Consequences, NM.
A memorial account has been set up at Vectra Bank under Carry Cassady Memorial Account. Carry asked that the account benefit his granddaughters.
A memorial BBQ will be on 9/26/15 at 12 pm near Jersey Jim. The BBQ will be a potluck with the family providing the main course. All individuals that plan to attend are asked to RSVP to 970-884-5004
no later than 9/18/15.
