Obituary for Betty Jane Cadman
Former longtime resident, Betty Jane Cadman, 80, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Family Health West Nursing Home in Fruita, Colorado. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2pm at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango.
Mrs. Cadman was born August 30, 1933 in Cheyenne, Wyoming the daughter of Lucille and John McGrath. She met Glen Cadman in Durango and the couple married in Aztec, New Mexico on March 24, 1950. They had 3 children together. Betty enjoyed reading books and watching old movies. Mrs. Cadman lived in the Durango and Hesperus area for 68 years, before becoming ill and moving to a facility in Fruita.
She is survived by her children, Susan Marx of Durango, Leroy Cadman of California, eleven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Cadman and son Kenny Cadman.
