Obituary for Johnny G. Boughan

Johnny G. Boughan passed away surrounded by family in Farmington, New Mexico on November 1, 2015.
Johnny served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1953 - 1955. Johnny married his wife Elizabeth Hildenbland in June of 1956. The lived on the Florida Mesa for 32 years where they raised their four children. In 1995 Johnny & Elizabeth moved to Aztec, New Mexico. Johnny was employed as a Service Man by McCoy Caterpillar/Wagner's for thirty years. After his retirement, Johnny worked as a Service Agent for San Juan County in New Mexico for five years.
Johnny is survived by his wife Elizabeth; four children Marylyn Boughan-Jones (Grand Junction, CO), Barbara Boughan (Ignacio, CO), and Johnny Boughan Jr. (San Angelo, TX), & Charles Boughan (Aztec, NM); mother Ethel Barger; sister Blanche Payne; brothers Earl Boughan (Durango, CO) & Louie Boughan (Ignacio, CO); grandchildren Jodi Saylor, Micheal Jones, Kelly Jones, Johnny Boughan III, Blane Boughan, Shayla Lee, & Elliott Albo; 16 great-grandchildren; and his dog Buttons.
A visitation will be held at Hood Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, November 5, from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Hood Mortuary Chapel on Friday, November 6 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Greenmount Cemetery.
