Louise Bell

Louise A. Bell passed away Thursday, November 03, 2016, at home, surrounded by family. She was 89 years old. Services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
Louise was born October 18, 1927, to Frank and Bula (Thompson) Damkoehler in Montana. Moved to Michigan as a child with parents and her brother, Richard. She married Richard Bell and lived in Scottville, Mich., until they retired and moved to Dunnellon, Fla. They later moved to Beaumont, Tex. to be close to family. In 2005 they moved to Durango, Colo.
Louise was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Durango where she participated in the handbell choir. She was a talented golfer and commonly played the organ at the churches that she attended.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary (Dan) Howell of Durango; Grandchildren: Courtney Howell of Austin, Tex. and Colby and Annie Howell of Beaumont, Tex.; and great-grandchildren: Eloise and Oliver Howell also of Beaumont.
She is preceded in death by her Spouse: Richard; her brother and her parents.
