Obituary for
Rodney H. Baulig
Rodney Harold Baulig was born in Salem, Ore., Sept. 11, 1929, to Harold A. & Honor J. (Zell) Baulig. He graduated from Longview (Wash.)High School and served in the US Navy for nine years. He attended Oregon State University and graduated as an electrical engineer. While in the Navy, he married Jeannie Harris July 4, 1954, in Oxnard, Calif. After retiring from Westinghouse Nuclear Services in 1990, they moved to Enchanted Forest, Bayfield, Colo. Rod died October 25, 2011, in Horse Shoe, N.C., where they had lived since 2005. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Patricia Warren of Washington state.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie who plans to return to the Durango area, daughters Kelly and Kym; son and wife Jeff and Patsy, grandchildren Keri, Nichole & husband Tom, Steve, Sarah and Jacob, and great-granddaughter, Jolie.
He was greatly loved by us all & is deeply missed. “This is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it.”
