Obituary for Donna L. Baker
Donna Langehennig Baker died Monday, September 26, 2011, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango. She was 63.
Mrs. Baker was born May 9, 1948, in Fredricksburg, Texas, daughter of Walter and Estella Langehennig. She spent the early years of her life on a Texas ranch among beloved horses and even more beloved family. On November 26, 1966, she married Dick Baker in San Antonio, Texas.
“Donna was an energetic and loving mother who raised her three children so well that she now has four very healthy, affectionate, and energetic grandchildren,” daughter-in-law Shandra Baker says, "Her family eagerly awaits seeing her again in the Bible's promised paradise on Earth very soon."
She is survived by her husband, Dick Baker of Durango, daughter Amie Melton of Ignacio, and daughter Jennifer Timms and son Brad Baker, of Durango; and father, Walter Langehennig, brother, Homer Langehennig, and sister, Melanie Clark, all of Bandera, Texas; and four grandchildren.
A service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1018 County Road 250, in Durango.
