Charles E. Arnspiger
Charles Ellsworth Arnspiger was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to Roscoe Frank and Minnie Belle (Gray) Arnspiger on June 19, 1928. He grew up in Clovis and owned a business called "Your Hobby Shop." He also played drums in a dance band while in Clovis. He later moved to Tulia, Texas, where he met Carol Heddleston and they were married in Tulia in 1953. In 1956, they moved to Amarillo, Texas, where his daughter was born. He was display director for several different fashion stores until his retirement in 1990. He moved to Durango, Colo., in 1990 and worked at Silverton Victorian Millworks. He was also a talented artist.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Frances, and one nephew. He is survived by his wife Carol, his daughter Krista Vandiver, his son-in-law Jerry, his two grandchildren Jeremy and Melissa, and two nieces. Services will take place at a later date.
