Anthony Paul Bates

Anthony Paul Bates “Tony” age 68 passed away Tuesday September 17th 2024, He was born November 3rd 1955 to parents Adeline and Robert Bates in Los Angeles California. He had one brother Carl Bates. Growing up in Lakewood California where they spent their time being mischievous boys playing at the park across the street, he loved hunting and fishing. Tony moved to Durango in 1991 with his family. There he was a plumber for over 20 years. Tony lit up any room he entered and could befriend just about anyone. He created a community of beloved friends over the years Tony is survived by his two children Courtney Mikes and Logan Bates. He was a proud and loving Father who will be extremely missed.
